I almost didn’t end up drawing the Punctuators myself. As a kid, and even through most of college, I never saw myself as creative or a good artist. I remember I decided I would draw it when I listened to this interview with Mo Willems. I took his advice and started with Second Period’s center logo. He looked nothing like he does now but it made me realize that I could do it. Everyone should draw. One reason is your kids will love it. I still remember my Mom drawing Mega Man 2 characters for me and it was the coolest.
