I was thinking at first that this made Comma Chameleon way too powerful but there are only a handful of imperatives and past tense verbs that are the same. Esperanto doesn’t have this problem because all imperatives end in u.

I looked up the phrase “How to defuse a tense situation” and I found many websites had used diffuse. I probably only know the difference because of my science background. The English language is hard.
