Reading the book Black Swan right now and helping me be rational about my chance of getting this comic published. When I first started it I was convinced that it would launch my writing career. My wife luckily grounded me and convinced me that success also depends greatly on luck, which Black Swan also states. My advice is do not sacrifice money, your job, or your relationships on a book or venture that has a small chance of succeeding. So far I have sacrificed less than 200 dollars on this comic.
